Traditional Christmas Carol: Deck the Halls.
Deck the Halls or Deck the Hall (which is the original version of the lyrics) is a traditional Christmas, Yuletide, and New Years’ carol.
The melody is a Welsh aria belonging to a winter carol, “Nos Galan”, which dates back to the sixteenth century. On the other hand, the English letter, written by Scottish musician Thomas Oliphant, is from 1862.
